Introduction
The Midnight Ghost is a train that races from Los Angeles to San Francisco in Jack Kerouac's "The Dharma Bums." But it's also the name of a relatively new rock and blues band that plays in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee.
The band features Shad Schneider on guitar and vocals, Eric Bishop on guitar and percussion, Bryon Theriot on bass, and John Huotari on drums.
The Midnight Ghost performed regularly at Moondollars Cafe and Bistro in Jackson Square in Oak Ridge, a restaurant and music club that recently closed. The band has also performed at Knoxville's Southbound Bar and Grill as well as the Speakeasy Bar and Venue.
